How to Change Snooze Time On iPad and iPhone Alarm Clock?

Earlier, people used to wake up by applying an alarm on a bedside table alarm clock. But now, since the introduction of smartphones, the time has changed a lot. Nowadays, people use their smartphones to wake up early in the morning, whether they have to attend an urgent meeting in the morning or students want to rush to school or colleges in order to submit their assignments on time.

Meanwhile, unlike other smartphones, iPhones also have a built-in alarm clock feature and a number of users use their iPhones to wake up early in the morning. And when they hit the snooze button, they will only get an additional nine minutes, not even more than that. You can’t even change the default snooze settings of an alarm within the Clock app on your iPhone, and it’s always set to 9 minutes.

However, if these 9 minutes are too long or too short for you, you can easily change this default snooze settings, and there are some workarounds that offer you the capability and control over your alarm’s snooze settings on your iPhone or iPad.

The reason behind the 9-minute snooze timer

Today, most of the smartphone’s alarm clocks have the setup of a 9-minute snooze timer. While it’s traditionally born and has set certain physical limitations of the mechanical clocks. Apart from this, 10 minutes of snoozing time might have been great, but the mechanical watches are not able to snooze for 10 minutes. Thus, nine minutes of snoozing have started. Apple continued with this weird trend and added a 9-minute snooze as its only option within the alarm of the Clock app.
